Who is responsible
Mikkelparken AS, Kinsarvik, Norway, is the data controller for the information you register on lostandfound.mikkelparken.no and hittegods.mikkelparken.no. Contact us at info@mikkelparken.no.
What we store, and why
- Name, e-mail and phone number — so we can contact you about the case and confirm that you are the owner.
- Address (optional) — only if the item is to be shipped to you.
- Description of the item, date and place, and optionally a photo — so we can recognise and find the item.
- Language choice — so our e-mails arrive in the language you used in the form.
The legal basis is contract (you ask us to search for something you lost) and our legitimate interest in returning lost property to its rightful owner.
Who has access
Only Mikkelparken staff who handle lost property. Photos are kept in private storage and are not accessible to others. We do not share the information with third parties, and we do not hand it to the police unless required by law.
How long we keep it
The case is kept while it is open and for up to 12 months after it is closed, so we can contact you if the item turns up later. The one-time e-mail verification code is deleted after 24 hours.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction or deletion of your data by writing to info@mikkelparken.no. Please quote the case reference number. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
Data and storage
The data is stored in Google Cloud (Finland region, EU/EEA). E-mails are sent from no_reply@mikkelparken.no.
